Industry leaders WorkPro and Our Community have today announced the formation of a formal partnership that will help to deliver an employee and volunteer management, induction and compliance solution for community based organisations.

Patrick Moriarty, Director of Our Community believes that the partnership will enable the community sector to take advantage of an industry leading safety and compliance solution.

“As a world-leading social enterprise that provides advice, tools and a reference point for Australia’s 600,000 community groups, our partnership with WorkPro ensures that we can provide an affordable and practical education, training and probity solution that will assist community sector staff, volunteers and board members  to meet their legal compliance responsibilities and access a management solution to elevate their organisation from ordinary to extraordinary”, stated Mr. Moriarty

“This partnership was formed in recognition of the changes in workplace and volunteer legislation, and is available to all groups as a simple cost effective program that enables organisations to provide health and safety inductions, police checks and work rights (visa checks) to its workers, volunteers and board members. “

Tania Evans, General Manager of WorkPro stated, ‘We are proud to be associated with such a well-respected organisation as Our Community, who understand and support the not-for-profit sector, and who is committed to ensuring the sector is educated and adopting the best available management solutions.

We are excited to be able to offer this simple yet robust offering to the community sector and particularly pleased that due to the flexibility and scalability of the solution, it will be appropriate for a broad range of community organisations, which at the end of the day, need to manage this key area of employee and volunteer management.

The new partnership will provide the community sector with a centralised online employee and volunteer screening and compliance tool that aims to get individuals inducted, checked and ready for work simply and efficiently.
