The revised legislation attempts to make responsibilities a lot clearer and easier to understand.
What’s the major takeaway? Independent contractors share health and safety obligations with the company that hires them.
They’re both considered a Person Conducting a Business or Undertaking in the legislation. That means they need to collaborate to comply with the law.
