FOOD HANDLING

Whether you employ staff specifically as a Food Handler, or engage staff whose job may involve handling food, this module is important to identify and reduce safety risks.

The module will take the individual approximately 30 minutes to complete and includes:

  • Key hazards such as contamination, cross contamination and food poisoning
  • Hygiene
  • Handling food, including receiving food from suppliers and storing food
  • Cleaning
  • Equipment and tools maintenance
  • Waste management
  • HACCP
  • Reporting hazards and incidents
  • Workplace Inspections
