Privacy
WorkPro may collect personal and sensitive details about you as part of your using the site services. We do this in compliance with the Australian Act and Australian Privacy Principles (APP’s), New Zealand Information Privacy Principles (NZ IPP’s) and General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) as amended and meet the requirements of the privacy requirements that covers the collection, use and disclosure, and secure management of personal information.
WorkPro staff are trained to work within the legal boundaries of confidentiality and the privacy of individuals. Breaches may result in disciplinary action, dependent upon severity. WorkPro has appointed a Privacy Officer to ensure that the management of your personal information is in accordance with these terms of access and the relevant Privacy Acts.
Protecting your privacy and the confidentiality of your personal information within your WorkPro site profile is fundamental. All information is stored electronically, all documents are encypted at REST, and the service is password protected.

Only by providing your unique site candidate identification number (CIN), will you give an organisation permission to view some of your WorkPro site profile. At all times you can alter, delete, or add some personal information and records.
It is your responsibility to ensure that your WorkPro identification details, including username, password and CIN remain confidential.
How we collect, use, disclose and secure your personal information
WorkPro has been purpose-built to assist employers meet their legal compliance obligations and streamline the recruitment, screening and engagement process for candidates and employees. Services are designed to ensure the security and protection of your personal information by giving you control over who may access your information. The service is initiated by an organisation (customer). Once you sign-up on the site, you may share your digital profile with another organisation only by expressly providing your unique Candidate Identification Number (CIN) which you are provided upon the completion of the first requested task or by providing express informed consent.
Your information may be used in connection with:
Regarding, and if applicable, the outcome of an Australian Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) which is obtained by WorkPro and provided to the requesting organisation (following your consent) is deemed sensitive and is secured and stored from unauthorised access and destroyed in accordance with the Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission (ACIC) requirements, including ensuring records are only held for a period 12 months. You have the right to request the NCCHC certificate be permanently removed from the site after 90 days. If this request is made, only the result will be stored in accordance with the ACIC requirements for a period of 12 months.
You have the right to correct your personal information at any time if it is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date, and you have the responsibility to ensure that your information remains accurate.

General Rights
You have access to your own personal information held on the site, and you can update, edit or request to have your profile deleted at any time.
If your profile is deleted as a user of the WorkPro service, it does not automatically entitle you to have all your personal information permanently deleted from the WorkPro system. Some personal or sensitive information may continue to be used, disclosed, or otherwise processed for a lawful purpose including meeting WorkPro’s and Customer’s retention and mandatory reporting obligations.
